Game night playing format
Each affiliated team will field three snooker players and one billiard player.
Each snooker match will consist of a best-of-three frames result, playing off current handicaps, as provided by the Association’s handicappers.
Each billiards match will consist of a best-of-three 133 up result, playing off current handicaps, as provided by the Association’s handicappers.
Opposing team captains will list their teams in ascending handicap order and swap lists with their counterpart no later than 6.25 p.m.
The home captain will then nominate the order in which matches are to be played. Three table venues to utilise all tables available for play.
If away teams are running late, communication to the home team must be made advising of such.
Forfeit: In the case of an individual match being forfeited the following procedure must take place –
Always advise the opposing team captain as early as possible if you know you are a player/s short and will be forfeiting a match/s.
Don’t bring 4 players along the coast if you know your opposing side is short.
Don’t pay for the forfeit match.
Once a team Captain has advised the opposing side as to a forfeit, this stands and cannot be changed or (mutual agreement with both Captains).
The team captain who is not forfeiting a player is then able to list his side as he chooses for example:
Name his side with 4 snooker players only OR name his side with a billiard player and 3 snooker players.
The side who has a player/s forfeiting must line up his side accordingly to match the line up provided by the other team captain.
The result sheets should only have the names of the players who played - (no other names).
no handicaps are adjusted for players who are not playing.
The forfeit match simply shows no names and a losing result of 0/2 to the forfeiting side.
Dress Code: Players to wear; Collared Shirt/Team Polo, Dark Pants and Dark enclosed footwear.
Tie in final's: In the event of a tie in the finals, the captains will put 1-4 cards down and do a random draw to see what match is not replayed and the 3 remaining are a one frame game meaning you would have a winner once any team has 2 games won. If a venue has 3 tables they are to be all used in this instance.
Finals eligibility: A player must play a minimum of seven (7) roster games to be eligible to play in the final’s series.
To play snooker in the finals series a player must play a minimum of four (4) games of snooker during the roster.
To play billiards in the finals series a player must play a minimum of three (3) games of billiards during the roster.
